I recently spent a few nights at The Kingsley Hotel, and while the luxurious accommodations and friendly staff impressed me, my experience was marred by some unsettling interactions regarding a lost item. I had left behind a leather box with significant sentimental and monetary value, and unfortunately, the follow-up regarding its recovery was dissatisfying. The rooms were spacious and well-appointed, but the service left a bitter taste in my mouth.

The Classic King Room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. it had a lovely bath and separate walk-in shower. However, there was a noticeable bleach smell that lingered, which detracted from my overall enjoyment.

While most of the staff were friendly and professional, my attempts to resolve the issue surrounding my lost items were met with inconsistency and sometimes unhelpful attitudes. It was disappointing to feel dismissed when I was hopeful for assistance.

The location is quite nice and quiet, a handy 5-minute drive from the city center, although I wouldn’t want to walk it in the rain. It does provide a pleasant environment away from the city's hustle and bustle.

However, there were a couple of downsides, such as some noise from adjacent rooms and a minor issue with hot water discoloration. which was disappointing.

The location along the River Lee was fantastic, making it easy to explore Cork. 🌊 Overall, there's great potential here, but improvements in service and maintenance would elevate the overall experience.
