6.8/10

I recently spent a few nights at The Kingsley Hotel, and while the luxurious accommodations and friendly staff impressed me, my experience was marred by some unsettling interactions regarding a lost item. I had left behind a leather box with significant sentimental and monetary value, and unfortunately, the follow-up regarding its recovery was dissatisfying. The rooms were spacious and well-appointed, but the service left a bitter taste in my mouth.

The Classic King Room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. it had a lovely bath and separate walk-in shower. However, there was a noticeable bleach smell that lingered, which detracted from my overall enjoyment.
Service

While most of the staff were friendly and professional, my attempts to resolve the issue surrounding my lost items were met with inconsistency and sometimes unhelpful attitudes. It was disappointing to feel dismissed when I was hopeful for assistance.
Location

The location is quite nice and quiet, a handy 5-minute drive from the city center, although I wouldn’t want to walk it in the rain. It does provide a pleasant environment away from the city's hustle and bustle.

I enjoyed my meals, with the breakfast standing out as a highlight. However, I found that the menu options for dinner were somewhat lacking, especially when room service was limited primarily to pizza.

The hotel's facilities looked impressive, with a hot outdoor pool overlooking the river. but I didn't get to fully enjoy everything due to my circumstances.

My stay at The Kingsley Hotel was lovely, with friendly staff and amazing facilities, including an outdoor pool and spa. The location was ideal, offering beautiful views of the River Lee. However, there were a couple of downsides, such as some noise from adjacent rooms and a minor issue with hot water discoloration. which was disappointing.

The hotel is perfectly situated by the River Lee and offers a short walk to the city center. I really appreciated the surrounding beautiful red-paved streets, even though I was close to a busy road.

The food was fantastic. from the restaurant meals to the divine breakfast delivered to my room. I had a great selection at each meal, even though the late-night room service wasn’t quite up to the same standard.

I had a mixed experience at The Kingsley Hotel. While the rooms were spacious and well-appointed, I faced issues with the restaurant service and some cleanliness concerns. The location along the River Lee was fantastic, making it easy to explore Cork. 🌊 Overall, there's great potential here, but improvements in service and maintenance would elevate the overall experience.

I enjoyed my stay at The Kingsley Hotel. The location was fantastic, nestled near the city yet maintaining a lovely country feel. However, the hotel does need some updates as it appeared a bit tired in places, especially some of the facilities. The staff were really good, making my experience nice despite a few minor drawbacks.

I enjoyed my stay overall, especially with the lovely views from my room and the excellent breakfast. However, there were a few hiccups with service and dining that put a damper on the experience. The location was convenient for exploring Cork, but the noise at night was quite bothersome.

The staff were generally friendly and welcoming, but the service at dinner left much to be desired. There were several mistakes with our orders, and I found it hard to find someone to help when we needed assistance. It felt like they didn't check to see if our meal was okay.

The hotel's location by the river is beautiful and close to UCC, making it easy to enjoy local walks and attractions. However, it is a bit far from the city center if you prefer to walk, so be prepared for a taxi or bus ride.
